Curriculum and Instruction

The office of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment supports teachers and the wider community in the quest for student success. We provide structure and resources for the development of curricular units using the Understanding by Design model; promote the use of common assessments in order to gauge student mastery; and provide quality staff development so that teachers have the research based practices in their repertoire.

Strategic Student Achievement Goal for the District:

The West Bend School District will ensure students obtain the skills necessary for career readiness and college access by achieving a score of 24 (composite average) by 2018 as measured by the ACT College readiness exam.
